Just looking for everyone's cage pics, as mine will be going in for a full 'cage soon. I have an idea of what I want more or less, but just trying to see other people's ideas. Also looking for some front or rear bumper pics.

And also, if you don't mind disclosing this info :eek1: , how much you paid for your 'cage. thanks.

I think most people are they just dont want to post the same pics here you could find by doing some searching. Not trying to be harsh just stating the obvious. With that, here are a few pics of mine. Just scroll down to see the cage and bumper pics. The rear bumper has been shortened just behind the tire and i'm adding door " X's " today. Other than that, well, it's ready.

cegusman - you didn't post enough pics of all angles... can you get us more?

:haha:

just kidding. i really really like alot of the tube work. your body is trimmed like mine, and the bumpers you've got are really what i'm looking to do - being wrapped around the corners and all.

i'm trying to decide if i want to have a stinger on the front tho... i like them, but i just cant figure out a practical purpose for having one. care to enlighten me?

The stinger is there so I can slide up and over Honda's easier.:haha:

Stinger is to possible save my ass if I ever get close to endoing the truck. Not sure if it will really work but its there just in case.

interesting... never thought about turning it over that way. now i might be interested in having a stinger! :)

Stingers also protect your hood and corners in a roll over if it is tall enough.

This stinger left a hole in the ground where the truck rolled over and the stinger absorbed a lot pf the impact from the front of the truck.

If it was a few inches taller there would have been no damage to his hood.

Oh by the way we were in the process of getting a sweet cage in his 4runner.....whoops, he is still getting a cage of course.

hey on your stinger what do the two peices that go into the grill bolt to?

In regards to the stinger, if you are going up a real steep hill/ledge and the trucks wants to lift the front tires you can attach a strap to the stinger and a person can hold the other end of the strap to try and keep the front of the truck on the ground
