pretty spiffy, but you won't have it long if you keep parking in the towaway zone..

LOL... yeah those spots are reserved for a deli near my house that we eat at.

very well-done my friend. How long did it take you to fab?

It took 1 night to do. Once it was drawn out as to what was wanted. Still might add to it. Maybe something going along the bed rails. I just added my cb. Mounted it up above the Rear view mirror. I also need to add some gussets so i can add 5 point harness seat belts. Currently using the stock ones.

A little input. I like the design but it needs a little something. I would add a bar going from the "b" pillar to the 5 and 6 points on your cage. Make it go parallel along the underside of the edge of the body and above the wheel well. The overall design looks awesome. I am a little concerned with strength in the middle where the triangulation is behind the drivers and pass seats. Is there plans to re-inforce this area? Again, not trying to critisize. The cage looks good and it is just my o2.

yeah, the rear is kinda 'hang'in out there' isn't it? like they say on every single cage critic thread on pirate, "needs more triangulation!!!" ;)

How much tube did you use for it? I am about to cage mine out and am trying to get an idea of how much I will need.

Your cage design looks similar to mine on the back half. Here is what i did to mine just to give you an idea of what i meant. In the first pic you can see the tube i was talking about that connects the "b" pillar to the 5 and 6 points on the cage. In the second you can see how i made the ass end a little more pleaseing. Again, just suggestions and examples.

looks good, impressive for one nights work

Did you mount it to the frame? or just the body?

As far as adding more i think the only thing i would add is more support going from the b Pillar back along the frame rails. Other than that i won't be adding much in the back. This is my daily driver and i actually use what space there is in the back. Plus once i figure out if i am going to use bucket seats or another bench seat in the back then i might change my mind. My kids are 12 and 4 so i want to make sure there is plenty of room for them.

I appreciate all the comments. Good or bad. Constructive critisism(sp?) is a good thing.

Just the body. Maybe once the rock slider are figured out then we might tie it together i have no idea yet. one thing at a time.
