Will a cage made for a 78 fit an 86? I know that they cahnged the shape and position of the rear seat/floor area, but I can't remember when. Any help is appreciated. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

The floor changed in 77/78... i.e. it's the same through '77, and then for '78 the extended rear foot area and fold-down seat were introduced.
I don't know about 81+ trucks, but I'm suspecting that a cage from a '78 would fit your '86 pretty well.
