cage questions

this is a simple question. i run a K5 and i will be putting in a full cage that goes under the hardtop. i am not sure to build a 6 or 8 point cage. obviously i know that 8 point is better on paper, but is it necassary?

All depends on what you want out of it. If your a hardcore wheeler/crawler and the thing is going to be on it's side/upside down alot, then go for the 8 point or a 10pt. If you just want to save your neck "just in case", then a 6pt will do just fine, or just a hoop behind the fronts for that matter.

with lots of triangulation, a 6 point would be fine, even in a nasty roll.
