Has anyone ever done a cage in a K10 and still kept the bench seat? I am only wanting to do shoulder and lap belts for now. I would like to keep the bench seat but don't want to if it would be to stupid to do. I know that buckets would hold you in better in a roll over but im just trying to get it done before Blazer Bash with what I have already.

I don't think the seat would hold you in place nearly well enough. The biggest issue, if you need a cage, you should probably have good buckets that hold you in place. good race seats will help hold you in place to begin with.

i ran a bench i my k5 w/ plenty of time on its sides... i did run 5 point harnesses w' the stock belts... ran the 5 points offroad and the stockers on the street... worked for me...

My truck is still a clean and straight truck. I don't beat it hard but I want a good cage for the "what if".
