Got a question on mounting the cage. When mounting it to the frame do most people mount it soild or do you use some type of bushing. What are the cons and pros of either way?

I am in the middle of putting mine to the frame using bushings from kert. My theory is they will act like body mounts, and transfer less of the vibrations from the frame to the seat of my pants.

ive seen sandwich plate inbetween the floorboard, the bottom of the plate (under floor) had a tube angled from the plate to the frame with a leaf spring bushing mounted into it then mounted to the frame. Looked trick, dont really have pics, saw it first hand.

Thats exactly what I am doing. I dont have pictures though and the truck isn't at school with me
