Has anyone caged thier burb? I would like some ideas.
I was thinking of buying the cage kit for a pickup and adding on. What do you think?????????

One of the guys (he is a professional fabricator) on our team did a full cage in his Suburban that is really nice and while he was at it he bent up a second one. He would sell it and you could weld it in yourself or bring it to San Diego and have him install it. If you are interested I can see what he wants for it, but remember quality cages like this are not cheap.

We Desert Race and have a shop at one of the guys house in El Cajon where we keep and work on the trucks. We have two Class 8 Trucks (one Ford and one Chevy) a Stock Full Ford and a Class 5 as well as some Prerunners in the team. We are sponsored by Viejas Casino in Alpine. The friend I am talking about also has a shop close by and helps us from time to time. I just talked to him and he is pretty busy right now but gave me some ballpark quotes. For a .120 wall mild steel “Safari" type cage with an exposed Dash cross tube your looking at $1200 to $1500 depending on exactly what you want. For a Prerunner type cage with the dash cross tube hidden behind the dash it’s around $2500. These cages are to the frame and very nice. Team Pictures
