Looking for a pair of backing plates off of a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton front axle that aren't bent or rusted out.

I would prefer the stamped 1 piece versions.

Thanks @sweetk30. I knew the rotors between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton were different sizes.

The backing plates will be used to convert an early 70's CJ5 front Dana 30 axle from drum to disc.

Didn't have a preference on 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton, just preferred to have the one piece ones.

better check the knuckles . drum brake knuckles are cast different and make it a pita to convert to disk .

most people swap knuckle out .

I'm still doing some research on it but I know that I need:

'73-'87 backing plates
'73-'87 calipers and pads
CJ7 front rotors

I didn't read anything about guys swapping the knuckles out... I've read like 15 different write ups on it.

There's a local guy that has all the brake stuff for an old Dana 30 but I'm planning on doing discs on the Dana 44 which is drum also and I'm planning on doing weld-on caliper brackets from Ruffstuff and all of the same stuff mentioned above.

Don't wanna have less brake up front than in the rear by sticking to the stock stuff. Planning on JB7 calipers up front and JB6 in the rear.
