calipers dont fit my 8 lug inner hubs??

the calipers i have on my blazer wont work on the 3/4 ton inner hubs im tryin to put on. they have a little nipple that doesnt let them seat right. can i just grind the nipple off to make them seat right??

What little nipple are you talking about....pics would be good in this situation.

Are you using the correct caliper mounting brackets? When you go from 6 to 8 lug rotors, you also have to step up to the 3/4-ton brackets. The 1/2-ton brackets are a bit too small.

there on the under side of the caliper is a bump that has to be grinded off. i did a search and found this guy had to do the same thing.

Yep there are 2 different calapers and backing plates for some reason. The parts store even has them under the same part # when you order them so watch out. However they are basicly the same and after you do a little grinding they bolt right up.
