Having a problem with one of our desktops here, which is 2 or 3 year old Dell unit.

Getting this message on a blue screen at start up:

STOP: C0000134 {Unable to locate component}

This application has failed to start becuase KERNEL32.dll was not found. Renistalling the application may fix the problem

I tried rebooting in safe mode, as well as with the "Last known good configuration"

Any way I can get rid of this blue screen of death?!

I can't for the life of me find my XP disks to reboot, DOH!

your missing a important file so your pretty much **** outta luck if your cant find your disc

I don't suppose the disks can be found downloadable on line somewhere?

best bet is find a registry repair program .
in lieu of that here is the DLL you need.

If you can determine that the file exists and is readable, this message also pops up when the dll in question is compiled for the wrong platform (win32, x64, Itanium..etc)
YOu could pull the disk out and plug it as a secondary disk into another computer and get at the disk contents, you could verify this file exists. It looks like it either was blown away, or overwritten, or a new startup app has taken control ( virus of some sort perhaps) and didn't install itself properly.

no luck with the disk, for whatever reason my wireless mouse/keyboard stop working when the program (Bart PE Builder) starts up.

With issues like that the only sure fix is a clean install of windows.

Boot in safe mode and save whatever important files you need to an external drive and reinstall windows clean.

You can download a disc image of xp to burn if you lost your disc. If your lacking in a valid registration code I can shoot you one I have like 10 for XP Home, 1 for Vista 32bit Home, and 1 for 64bit XP professional. Sorry no xp pro though.

Btw if you have an ipod you can use that as an external harddrive. Just open my computer and you'll see it. Just paste what you need to save.
