working on a system for my 97 chevy extended cab.

subs are kicker 12 inch solorbarics. there the L7 which are 750 rms.

my amp is a AUDIOBAHN 2ch A2300HCT model number.

specs are:
2 x 300W @ 4 ohms
2 x 600W @ 2 ohms
2 x 1200W @ 1 ohm

i wanna wire the subs and amp for 2 ohms. how do i do that?

I need to know the impedance (ohms) of the speakers, and if they are SVC or DVC. :)

there dual voice coil... cant rememberif there 2 or 4 ohm subs
I need to know which before I can give advice which way to wire them. :) A quick check on one of the coils with a DMM should tell you (3.5-5ohms = 4ohm nominal).

dual voice coil. 4 ohm subs. thanks.

This shows two DVC subs, each coil being 4ohms. The diagram shows wiring the two coils of each sub together in parallel, to reach a 2ohm load. Then you would wire each speaker to a channel of your amp, showing it 2ohms X2. So your amp's output would be 600 watts X2.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

thanks

thanks for the help. if i have any other ?'s ill ask. ill take some pics when its all installed.
