calling people with 3/4 ton 14 bolts sitting around

Can you measure from the center pin on your spring pads to the inside of the axle flange where the brakes bolt to? I know the best way to install spring pads is to jack the axle up in the truck and go from there but I want to tack weld them on so I can set my rear shackle first. Would suck to just hard mount that install the axle and find I have a horrible shackle angle.

I hooked my tape measure on the axle flange and to the center of the perch is 6" /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

on a 79 3/4 ton 14 FF
