can someone from the portland oregon area please get me some numbers of the local tranny shops, i was up there a couple months ago looking through the classifieds and they advertise 350s and 400s rebuilt for under $400 with warranty, anyone have anything to say about there work? I sold the tranny out of my blazer to my brother and now am getting a flood of responses of people wanting to buy this thing:doah: so it might just be worth the trip to prtland to get one and get this thing going again.

Thanks in advance

Justin

im gonna have to drive up there for the day, so im wanting something i can exchange or just hang out for the day and pick it up later thanks........does anyone have any #s from the local classifieds they advetise in?

i guess im just gonna go through canby transmission, they quoted me $450 with new convertor, shift kit, and complete rebuild out the door, thanks muddytazz for the #

sweet deal, lemme know when you'll be in town, I might be home and can hang here if needed :thumb:

what would a 700r4 cost to rebuild? I have a guy that'll do it for 550 with a shift improve kit if I pull it and reinstall

Canby Transmissions

Canby Transmissions is the outfit that rebuilt my t-350 w/ a Stage 2 shift kit for $325.I highly recomend them. The only problem I had was that they did not have the tranny done when I drove down to pick it up. They could not even find it! Then they were ready to give me one off the shelf and there it was sittin on the shelf untouched and not done! However they fixed the error and had it done the next day! No complaints! Good luck!
