after my little wheeling incident i had a bad miss with some popping back thru the cabr at higher RPM's...so after some head scratching and question asking i came to find out that i had either a collapsed lifter of had wiped a lobe off the cam.....so today me and my buddy tore my engine down and swapped in a new cam and lifters.....good thing too because not only did i have a bad lifter but i also had a wiped lobe off the cam....so we installed a Melling RV cam....i could definitely tell the difference as the new cam has an assload of torque to it...even with wimpy stock 3.08 gears this thing gets up and hauls butt now....now im just waiting on Holley to send my new 670 Truck Avenger to me so i can take off this borrowed(and very used) Carter AFB
