Cameras What type to get?

I know that my dad now has two different rebels, one is the Xti, the other is the same model as mine. He has shown me a ton of stuff that I have been able to use to make my pictures come out much cleaner than they ever were. Nice cameras, I just need to buy more lenses.

Cheaper Nikon

You can find a d-50 or d-70 body pretty cheap from photo guys upgrading.
Then when you get bit by the bug you can sell it to upgrade.
