Well, I've been building the K5 and need something to tow it with...

So, here's my V30 that I'm gonna build as a tow rig and have named it the "Camo Tow"...

Plans are to Rhinoline the bottom half and use car wrap vinyl to camo the top half...

Here's what it looked like when I fist got it...

Here's the camo pattern that I'm using for the top half...

I threw some 38.5 SXs on it...

Then put a brush guard on that I had laying around...

Well the 38s belong to my K5 and there's no way I would tow with them...

So, today I threw some 35/12.50/15 BFGs on it...

Thanks to Shane(leadfoot067) and Brian(MTBlazer89)...

This will stay a tow rig...

The K5 gets all that kind of attention, when I want to cut or weld on something I crack a beer and go beat on it...:haha:

And Yep, it's just over 21' long...:eek1:

That's the redneckiest camo I have EVER seen!!!!

LOVE IT!!!:bow::bow::bow::haha::haha::haha:

awesome tow rig.i saewit in your other truck build thread.definitely better thana f250 id say.good deal.love that camo chick vinyl.haha.im thinkin i may have to look into that.

Thanks guys...

When my boys started talking about painting it camo, the youngest one right away asked if we could get the "hoop things for the back and the camo tent to cover it like the Army trucks?"... I said, "Sure, why not."

My wife was listening to us and shacking her head... I looked at her and asked, "What, you don't like the idea of a camo tow rig???" As soon as it clicked in my head what I had just said there was no turning back...

I'm gonna get the same sticker vinyl and have a windshield banner cut that reads "CAMO TOW"...

It's gonna be awesome...

The vinyl is a little spendy, I might be into it for a grand when said and done...

From what I understand you just need to have a clean surface to put it on...

That is still cheaper than paint. What is the durability? Is this the same type of stuff they put on the city busses as advertisements?

You could put down the light grey base in paint, and then get the trucker girl stencils and go to down in black, white, and dark grey for a Cheaper alternative to the vinyl. I think if you took your time it would come out pretty good.

It's the same vinyl that is used on the Hummers that roll around covered in advertisements... Not sure about the bus thing...

I thought about using paint and doing the stencil thing, but if you look at the pic I posted you'll see there is something like 40+ different chicks...:eek1:

The brush gaurd came from LMC Truck I believe...

I picked it up about 4 years ago, ran it for a bit on the K5 and took it off when I got my 8274... It's just been laying around collecting dust...

Yeah I replied from work, and the picture doesn't show up on the computer. After I got home I noticed there were all different girl shapes. That would take a Looong time.
