What is the difference between a 1982 camper special 3/4 ton 4x4 and just a plain ol' 1982 3/4 ton 4x4?

the gross vehicle weight rating, ie theres a heavy spring rate on the truck. This was all I could find on some of the k-20s I have parted.

I agree... the camper specialt have a 10,000 gvw... the 3/4 ton have a 8,000 ton gvw

Ok a camper special gave you the option of a 400 sb, gave you a heavy duty 90 amp alternator or 120 with ac (i think), oil cooler, tranny cooler, and heavy duty rear springs and shocks.
