O.K. guys and gals I am going to Vegas for a little vacation next month. If anyone finds info on a place to camp or stay then I'll try to check it out personally when I'm there. Otherwise I'll try to find a spot that has enough room for 10 rigs or so and still has gambling and drinking that is not right on the "strip" and that looks halfway safe.

Post ideas here.

Rock ON dude!!! Thanks and have fun!! I still have to surf the web for info! I'm not much of a gambler so again if you want to leave your Blazer/gear with me while you go gamble that is fine!! BUt you better get up in the am to head out!!/forums/images/icons/smile.gif I know I'll wake you up with my 2chamber flowmasters/forums/images/icons/smile.gifLOL!!

I should have all the gambling out of my system next month. When we caravan through there I think sleep and gettin back on the road is all I will want.

Hey I just found this on Altavista.com
It was under Free camping in Las Vegas
here is a copy and paste!

Last March I spent several nights in the parking lot behind the Frontier (all the way to the back of their lot). In fact, security came by and directed me to park across the marked spaces. There were more than a dozen RVs there every night and lots of empty parking lot between them and the parked cars. I also spent one night behind the Luxor/Excalibur, where there were many other RVs, but there was more freeway noise than at the Frontier. -- BOB (7-00)

I'm gonna keep looking........

Here is a url of #s and names of places for RV parking and Camping

you know i live in vegas, i could find stuff easier than anyone probably.

You should PM me with your number and I'll give you a call next month when we come to town. We'll be staying at the Sahara. We want to take our daughter to Circus Circus, but other than that we are going to wing it.

David

Scott,

You are the logical choice for finding a place for us to park. Can you fit 10 rigs in your driveway?

David

actually yes i can fit about 10 in my driveway and more if i get permission from my neighbors to use their vacant lots all within like 100yds from my house.

That sounds good to me. I will be postponing my vacation until I get back from Ecuador.

David

I will be back in a month. Then I'll have to reschedule my vacation for somtime in late April or May.
