Camping / RV Parking?

Who is camping and where? I would like to try to setup near some of the groups. Is there need for reservations? Are there wide open spaces to park or are their individual spots? I do not need hookups.

The Arizona guys usually stay there.
Last year we got a bunch of rooms at the Moab Valley Inn. It was the nicest place we have stayed for Blazer bash but quite a ways from the slick rock which is where the camping people stay.
I think this year I will look at the Motel 6 agian because it is so close to the slickrock.

Last year was my first , and I stayed next to Marv and Rob . Actually pretty nice . Spots are long enough for truck and trailer . Rings for fires . Washers and dryers on site . Water and electric .

And Denny's is just down the street when your drunk

All those years we stayed at the '6, for some reason none of us made it any further than the parking lot in the evening... I suppose I can blame Dave's cooler in his truck

I did make it over to the AZ crews camp a few times. It does get hard to get away from the coolers that always seem to pop up at night in the motel parking lot.

I am thinking of camping at Slick rock this year. I think the camping experience will be better to get to know everyone. Last year I was so beat by the end of the day it was to easy to go back to the Hotel and sleep :
