just found these on the old CL for $275 for the pair but I can’t really tell what they are. Seems like a hell of a deal but an hour and a half away from me!

If its a 75, it will have the flat top knuckles which is needed for x-over steering on the d44/10b axles. Likely also has external locking hubs, which is a weaker locking hub setup, but wheel hubs interchange with newer 10b’s so could be upgraded if you wanted to. $275 seems like a fair deal especially if they are in bolt-in condition (ie: doesnt need complete brake overhaul)

So these are not the axels I thought they where.. I guys I’ll keep waiting for something else to pop up.

I love the old school snow tread tires ...they look cool on older 4x4's..worked well in snow too...wonder if they still sell tires with classic tread designs ?..

what did you think they were ..... or want ?

the rear is a bolt in for a 1/2 ton to 3/4 upgrade . the front can be usefull for parts or swap a few and have a good combo .

I was looking for a heavier setup. I’ve just got the factory 10’s right now.

Your looking for 1 tons then? That seems like a very good price for the set if all the internals are clean. That 14b doesn't even need the spring perches moved.

Edit: I just sold a set of 3/4ton axles for more than that. Same exact set up.

for bolt in easy the rear is worth that much .

if he has had them for a bit offer less and cash in hand i can pickup today price . you never know .

Not necessarily tons with the price of them around here. But I want something beefier than the factory 10’s

I also just found this too... wouldn’t have to jack with the rear disc conversion with this one but I don’t know how big of a pain in the ass it would be..

I'd take a 14bff in the rear over a d60. Don't forget to consider parking brakes if you need them for inspections and/or whatnot. You'd have em still with that 14b.

Oh and when I sold my 3/4ton set I opened up the difs and took pictures. Showed that no water got in, everything was A-okay in there.

That new 60 is a semi-float axle also . . . Not as strong as full-float of the 14ff or other full-float axles .
