Can I buy just this piece and a second ujoint and make my own CV shaft? I need to gain like 3" on my rear driveshaft anyways /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Yes you can buy just that piece but the end of the driveshaft is way different as well. The end of the driveshaft has a pin the sits in the centering yoke of the flange or slip yoke so you would also need to purchase the correct piece for the end of the driveshaft as well.
/forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif looks like about $90 plus ujoints
Or they make the whole shaft with new joints for 295$ /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
I got there 1350 rear cv shaft and have had no problems whatsoever even though I have heard of some problems from them. I was gonna buy the part that hooks to the piece you want to fix my front shaft till I had a whole shaft find me for 25$
