I picked up a D60 powerlok at the junkyard, it came out of the rear of a ford axle. As such it is not 35 spline. Can I get some 35 spline side gears and change them out so that I can use this up front?

Yepper, get a set of side gears for a Dana 70 P/L, gears are the same. Got mine cheap, like $11 a piece. I can get the number for yah if you need it.,....

Excellent, I have a 32 spline D70 p/l as well that I need to change to 35 spline also. Where'd you get them for $11 each? Yeah, I'll take the p/n if it's handy. My local driveline shop uoted me something like $100 for a whole new internal parts kit.

did it to a buddys 60f a couple months back. He bought a whole rebuild kit because he needed it came with the gears in the kit for 35 spline. Installed it in the front and it seems to be fine. Havent wheeled it yet but put it in 4-hi in the snow and it worked. The 11$ gears are for if you already have 35 spline powerlok if i remember correctly. I think you need the whole rebuild kit for an upgrade.

I think the rebuilt kit is the same for the 60 and 70. I know the gears are the same, it's just a matter of swapping them out. They both have the same part number, so shouldn't have to change anything out. Got the gears from FleetPride.
