Can I get 3.42 gears for D60, or 3.55 for 14-bolt?

For how I use my truck, I need to re-gear my D60/14-bolt combo to a numerically lower gear ratio than 4.10. But searching for gearsets, I can only find 3.42 and 3.73 for the 14-bolt, and only 3.54 and 3.73 for the D60.

Is it right that I can't match them at anything numerically lower than 3.73?

Has anyone ever seen a 3.42 D60, or 3.55 14-bolt? Know where I can find those gears?

If I can't get numerically lower than 3.73, then it's not worth the money to me to re-gear.

Note: I've looked at other options like an add-on OD unit, or switching rear axle to D70, so I'm *not* looking for input on that. I also can't use a D44 front - the truck has a Cummins in it, so needs the D60 weight capacity. I'm just interested in whether it's possible to match the D60/14-bolt at anything numerically lower than 3.73. If I can't, I'll go to other options from there. (Not trying to be rude, just wanting to keep the thread on topic.)

I know you can get 14B gears down to 3.21, be cause I have a set in my garage.

3.73 is the lowest you can go for both and match. Could swap out the 14ff for a Dana 70 and run 3.55s.

I have considered going with the D70 and 3.55s, but wanted to stick with the 14-bolt since it's already in the truck and has a Gov-Lock (which is perfect for the street/tow/beach-camp driving I do).

I think I'll stick with what I've got rather than go through the swap, unless I can affordably find a D70 with limited-slip (and hopefully already 3.55). There wasn't a GM D70 in 73-87 GM SRW width, right? My friend has a SRW D70 in a first-gen Dodge Cummins, so I'll measure his to see if it would be an easy swap, maybe just spring perch relocation. But I really don't feel like messing with that, too many other projects.

A dana 70 with 3.55's should be a realitivly easy find, they are a common rear in alot of 94-01 cummins trucks and after 01 and a 1/2 they are factory disc brake as well.
