can i get 37x13.50 with 6\" lift?

hey, im looking at somoe explorer pro comp 37x13.50 for my truck, can i get away with my 6" lift? or will i need another 2" of body? also, anyonoe use these tires before? thanks

It's possible it will work. Depends on the backspacing of the rim, but you'll most likely have troubles with them hitting the fenders when turning. That's a fair amount of width. Taking a little bit off the front fender would be a better option, in my opinion, than a bodylift.

What Pro-comps, the MT's or the X-terrain. ( /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Must be X-terrain, I don't think they make the MT in a 37, do they?)

I knew you were in S.E. Wisconsin, but not sure where.

My house is in Delafield by the Hwy 83 - I94 intersection. BUT, I'm only there in the summers and holiday breaks now because I'm at the University of WI - Madison.

I'll be home the weekend of Oct 3-5 swapping front axles if you want to lend a hand /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

They would probably fit if you cut the fenders otherwise the extra 2" will be needed.

Re: can i get 37x13.50 with 6\" lift?

i got 37x12.5's and 4 1/2 BS no rubbin on streets, yet to flex out though. No trimming either

Re: can i get 37x13.50 with 6\" lift?

Considering I cut my tires up pretty good with 4" and 35s, I'm inclined to say you've never even hit a speed bump too hard.

37s? 6" of lift? trim them fenders, them suckers will fit no problem. My 39.5s fit on 5" of lift with trimming. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i've hit speed bumps kinda hard.. no problems, i'm gonna try and flex out this weekend and take pics

I have 37x12.5's on 3" of lift. They are not close to hitting the firewall when flexed. Just trim the fenders and you will be fine.

Hmm, I'm running 36's on 4" of lift with the fenders trimmed all the way back to the firewall and I can rub the firewall on full bump with the wheel's turned. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I am running the 37x12.5's w/6" of lift and the fender trimmed back to the inner fenderwell and don't have any rubbing problems; however, I can stuff a rear far enough to rub the fenderwell in the rear above the floor line.
