I was just wondering if i can get new factory springs from the GM/chevy dealership locally? perferably 63" and 56's... /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

63"s you could not sure about the 56"s. they would be VERY expencive, it would be cheaper to get some new ones at a spring shop.

thats the only thing, tim suggest jcwhitney or spring supplier in a different post, but I don't have a spring place near me /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

im sure if you search enough you can find one, i didn't know there were any near me, then i found 2 right around the corner from each other about 50 miles away.

okay. I will do some searching.. I just don't know where to search... I have lived here for 6 or so years and I don't know where they could be /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I live in Canada; Cranbrook B.C.
Our yellow pages dont have anything... I couldn't find a metal supplier in there... but I didn't look very hard.

The closet "big" city is calgary, edmonton or Vancouver /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Tim, how are the JC whitney springs? Are they chevy/GM factory springs, or are they just cheap ones?

the 2nd on I couldn't find leaf springs... just torsion springs. etc.
If calgary was closer I'd look into the first link... but its a few hours away...

all they do is get them from a spring shop made to factory specs, they are in chigao so shipping is gonna kill you. tim likes them cause hes local, im somewhat local.
