Its cold outside. Can I convert my quadrajet on my 86 k5 to manual choke?

You can, but why do you want to? Is there a reason the choke isn't fixable?

I've been in plenty cold and hot weather, properly setup Q-jet mechanical choke worked fine.

The electric choke isnt working and it seems more simple just to run manual choke. Easier, cheaper fix. I think

Most autparts stores sell a manual choke conversion kit for like $10.
