I drove 6 hours to Barstow CA in my 86 K5 and met with Erich in AZ. He drove about 8 hours from Tucson AZ in his 83 Burb.. We talked for about 30 minutes then swaped tires and pink slips.. And we both went on our way very happy..I now own a burb...

Right know I am going to start working on the dents.. And painting it.. And working on cleaning up the inside.. There are a few electrical problems I need to work out.. And Willyswanter as started making the front bumper for it. Then I will be going 3/4 ton.. It will be mostly used for the family camping.. But I will tow my other K5 with it when I need to.. This is the front bumper he is making for me..

4 inch rough country's in the front and blocks in the rear.. I have 33inch tires on it.. I had planned on lowering it down to a 2.5 inch lift so my wife would drive it.. But she drove in it tonight and she likes it.. So I'll probably keep it where it is at..

[/ QUOTE ]this is why I miss my 73 K20... needs a new engine before I can start really running around with it. (hoping new spark plugs will at least put some life back under it... ) they just don't move as quickly when I'm in the 77 C20...
