I have an m1008 but I like wheeling with all my buddies and "supplies" in my truck. So I'm thinking about a crew cab to swap it over and run a custom flat bed/ tube setup..
has anyone done a single cab long bed to crew cab conversion?

As I remember I have seen it done, you have to channel the floor. The frame rails come up too much to fit the crew cab body on the single cab frame without a huge body lift ( lame) or some floor mods.

suburban frame = good fit. search ( gone huntin ) members build.

1 guy did it on short bed and had major floor mods in the back half. ( mtmike ) members build.

and i just did the easy way . k30 crewcab and shortened the frame in the rear real easy way. click my project stubby link in my sig for full build sofar. i got 133" wb 1.5" longer than std cab long bed and room for 4ft flatbed.
