...locker in place of a drive flange until I can FIND a drive flange for a d44. I have a 203 so I know I wouldn't be able to UNLOCK it but could I just keep it locked until I find the correct thing?

Right now my splines on the outer shafts and drive flange stripped completely out but still make a grinding noise as they are still trying to grab. I have an outer shaft coming by mail but can't find a drive flange anywhere.

I have a set of lockers from chalet that say wolverine on them and they look in good condition. Im going to clean them up and regrease them.

So would it work?

are you serious!!!:woot::saweet:

next question. The flange is bolted down by the 6 bolts to hold it on. The locker has no bolts but 1 big clip. How exactly does it go on? These were used so no directions.

There is more to the locker than just the internals.
The cap bolts to the 2 piece splined pieces using 6 bolts.

Look for an exploded diagram, it will make it all easy.

If the shaft is stripped i am not sure if a locking hub will make any difference anyway.

I think I have a couple stock Dana 44 drive flanges I used to carry as hub spares. Let me look tonight. I could just throw them in a flat rate envelope for you.

that would be awesome. Let me know. I have a shaft on its way, he just didn't have a flange to go with it.
thanks
