just tryin to get an idea how narrow i want to go.mang i love the way that looks.tee hee i can't wait.it will be easy as my whole rear section unbolts.the floor is two plates of steel, the fenders are on one inch sqare tubing.8 bolts and i have a chassis cab.
not sure if this will help but here's mine so far. fenders will be removable & attach to the 'cage...

Ok, Mr. Critical...zoom in on the pics & you'll notice the fenders are being held on by clamps...they're not welded on or attached yet, that's why my left fender looks lopsided...I'm probably lopsided or something but how come in both pics of your guys' rigs it look like the left side is leaned out a bit??
Sorry if i sound critical
.
in all seriousness, i noticed that mudman's left fender was also crooked

all i can say is baddd asss rigs men...What kinda grill you got in your rig mudman?? Sorry for the hijack

now i just hope i have a job tommorow to get this finnished.
Ok I have to jump in the mix, when you guys do the front fenders do you cut slice cuts in the inner structure or just remove it all together? And do you do the same to the top of the fender to get it to arc inward?
My inner structure is totally removed. I did cut slices in the upper part of the fender in teh horizontal plane to give the fender some place to collapse in on itself. Relief cuts I guess you'd call them. Of course welded them back together when it was done.
