Can i swap my seats left to right?

On my 79 blazer i would like to swap the seats left to right. Are they bolted to a "sub-frame" that gets bolted to the floor? In other words if i swap out the frames, can i swap the actual seats themselves left to right? I would like to cause the driver side seat is getting musch more worn then the passenger and i would like to maintain them as nice as possible till i get them re done.

That reminds me, I need to switch mine also. I have an 87' Burb. Mine interchange.

I wouldnt swap the entire seat because the levers would be in the wrong location.I would swap only the seat buns or the foam the frame can be repaired.What I did with mine because it was smushed a little was use a few of my old mags and stuff them under the foam and build it back up.I used to help out a apolstry guy and he had foam on hand and would use it to build up worn seats mostly older seats that mice stole the padding out of for nesting.

Yep, I actually like it if you have the wheel to adjust the seat, it makes it easier to get to

yea im talking about un bolting the seats from there frames and swaping just the seats. Obviously it would be pretty tough to swap the whole seat! i'll take a close look at it today. Might not do much though casue its supposed to be like 97* today!

Should work fine, since the backs don't recline.
