My stock crossmember seems to be in perfect shape. To save a couple hundred and the hassle of installation, I'm thinking of just trimming the stock crossmember to clear my straight draglink crossover steering setup. Dumb idea?
It depends on the amount of lift.
I'm running stock height 56"springs up front, and I couldn't use a straight draglink, even if I were to trim half my crossmember off.
