So I've got a passenger side flange that's bent on the '68. The disc wobbles really bad, so I pulled it off and I can see the flange wobble slightly.

Makes sense that I needed shims to correct an out-of-alignment rear caliper on that side. Looks like the axle's PO smacked the curb and bent the axle mounting flange and axle shaft flange.

I this something that can be turned back to straight or am I in for a new F*%#@&^ axle shaft?

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I might be one of the few that was actually happy to see this problem. As that means we may be getting closer to having a happy ending on the c10.

Just about anything can be straightened, I straighten solid stock and tubing at work all the time. Solid with pressure and tubing with precise heat and quenching.
You will no doubt have lost some strength after that process though.

Plus run out was caused by someone sliding the wheel into a curb or the like. Better to replace it.
