I want to do the 52's swap up front, and I have a set of 63's that a friend gave me. Can I use them for the rear lift. I'm sure it's been done but I can't find any build threads with it. I would like to keep the 4 inchs of lift I got. The rear has the sky shackle flip. Any ideas? Thanks

anything is possible. you will need to move your flip and probably move the front spring hanger to keep the axle somewhat centered in the wheel well. of course this will allow you to play with your drivetrain length.

The one problem you may have is if you run the axle centered on the springs you are decreasing your departure angle. I looked into it for my truck. the payoff is not big enough to do all the work.

Search 64 inch spring swap

The uak10 ran them

ihave 64's in the back of my k5. if you want to keep close to stock axle location like i did, move the front hanger, my axle was only about 2.5" back from stock

Not sure when they went to outboard body mounts for the center crossmember, but if you have inboard mounts like my 74 does, you can just move the front hangers forward to be inline with that crossmember. the bottom holes in the front hanger will line right up, as the spacing for the crosmmember rivets is the same as the hangar. just bolt that up and then drill new holes in the side of the frame for the side fasteners. Swap the shackle flip brackets from left to right and move them back about an inch, and your axle should be damn near centered. Mine is.
