I can get a np-205 transfer from an 80's F-250 for free. I want to put it up to my TH400 for my 84 blazer and use my current chevy driveshafts. Are the out put yokes ect. the same or diffrent? If different what exactley do I need.. thanks

and I have pass side drop correct? so this means I cant use a ford transfer pretty much....

Yea. As far as I know. Unless someone else can chime in with a way to use it.

run a 78 or 79 ford front d60 axle (driver drop that bolts in blazers) and that ford np205tc could be used, you would have to get the round face adapter and long chevy 32 spline input shaft for the 205 (ford is 31) to mate to the th400. Definately could be done.

Personally id still grab the free 205, but id pass on that route and get a chevy one with the proper input and be done. For the driveshafts, you can swap the outputs from the ford np205 (beefier size 32 spline) to the chevy case for added strength. The chevy is 30 spline or 10 spline outputs, so the driveshaft yokes are different.

Ford 205 , Ford Dana 60 , and a cut down lengthwise 99 Suburban true dual exhaust ( well true dual until the two into one muffler and single 3 inch out ) down the passenger side would be cool and totally cheap junkyard bolt on :thumb:

not so cheap around here Pauly.well sep for the t case.a guy my friend hooked me up with has 2 205 ford t cases for $50.00.he pulled them from the junk yard he works at. anyhoo, people are realizing the ford 60 works great in the IFS chevys.my neighbor has a boat load of them. think Mountain Explorer.:D

a completely bone stock 78-79 ford front 60 hub to hub with 4.10's goes for 1500.00 around here. For that price, I bought a whole Chevy k30 truck and kept the chevy crap d60/14ff/ 454/465/205/drivelines,etc. The sas market has raised the price on ford d60's.

Sounds like I'm going to find a chevy one since I dont have the $ for a D60... It's my friend case and I can have it if I'm using it but I wouldn't take it for no reason..
