Can I put a Guage cluster with factory tach. from a 78 into my 88 without too much hassle?


I did a search,but didn't find what I was looking for.

as far as fitting in there i know it would wokr..but connections im not sure ive never seen the back of an 88 gauge cluster..they might be a little different..not sure though..

sure you can... long as you dont mind cutting and pasting... heh actually i have no idea whatsoever, but you knew that already, didnt you?

It will physically fit, but the wiring is all different. Warning lights and stuff. Older truck doesn't have a check engine light. If you want to make a harness, you can!

Not if your 88 is still FI. The VSS is in the back of the speedometer.
