Here are some pics of a windshield frame I acquired for a full vert conversion. It was free with a top I bought. He threw in the doors too. I was happy with the deal but I am a little concerned with the shape of this windshield frame. I know several really good fabricators but I wanted to get outside opinions from here before I show it to them. I am looking for another windshield frame but where I'm from they are few and far between that are any better than this one.

Overall it's solid. The two major problem areas are the driver's side door rubber chanel groove and the lip where the windshield rubber attaches. The holes from the soft top are to blame. I removed a decent windshield before I cut this thing off the donor. I do have access to a rust removing vat that can remove the rust but not paint by soaking it for a few days.

My thoughts are a small piece can be fabbed or cut off the truck I do the conversion on to fit where the rot is on the corner. Really don't need any of the pillar below those upper seams in the photos so that most of the pillars can be cut away. The rust for windshield rubber lip isn't terrible. Once it's been in the rust removing bin I may just prime it and not worry about it since I know the old windshield fit fine.

Below are several pics, your opinions and expertise are appreciated.

If you don't find another one you could spend the time to fix it but it will be expensive

For free, you can run that all day. A whole ton of 3M window weld will get you past the next decade. I would not pay anybody to install that though
