Damn, that worked out to be an expensive exercise.
No offense, but those of you who don't use your ebrake, pay attention. (yeah right, we'll just keep using the transmission and expect that to never fail us) Don't care where you live, or what you are doing, things like this can and do happen as evidenced here, and there is NO reason for the ebrake to not be used.
I'm really not much for crazy safety rules and such, but it's not hard to use the ebrake. I hate seeing vehicles damaged for something as simple as not using the ebrake. (or not making sure it at least works, then when you need it, like the brakes fail, it doesn't work)
