I'm starting to take the parts off my old suburban to install in my new suburban and my friend is interested in the front bucket seats. Can these easily be made to fit his factory K5 bucket seat sliders?

No is the quick answer. I tried this year's ago.
I'll second a big no. Not without some fab work anyway.
Yes it can be done with few nuts and welder few other other things. I did it on a set of seats that I gave to 919jackass on here. Maybe send him a pm for pics of seats. I fab the seats up in couple hours and drove on them for a year before newer seats.
