Can this head still be used?

I recently bought a set of 781 BBC heads for $40. One of the heads looks like it has had new valve guides put in, but two of them are cracked on the head casting around the new guides. Is this head still usable? Can any machine work save these? This is the best pic I could get of the crack.

if it was me, i wouldnt do that. but another bro will chime in to tell u. sorry i cant be more of a help. i had a roller rocker that had a very small burrs on it, the mechanic that helped me rebuild my motor say he wouldnt use it, even if it felt smooth. so i wouldnt.

It looks to me that someone didn't ream the guide to the correct size before they pressed in the bronze sleeve. I'm not familiar with the wonders of modern machine work.

find out if u can get the heads rebuilt for cheap?
