Can weather channels be added to a cb?

I have a Cobra 148GTL, as well as a Cobra148NWST, I plan on taking both in for minor repairs/peaking and tuning. At the same time, could I have weather channels added to these CB's? Would it be more economicalto just buy an SSB CB with weather channels already available. I have hard really good things about the 148GTL, but is the 148NWST much different, other than the NiteWatch feature, which I really like? What are the probs with the SoundTracker feature?

No.. Weather channels are up at 162 MHz CBs runs at 27 MHz.. Two far apart.. Any CB you see that has weather channels is really two receivers that output to a single speaker...
