Farmer has these behind his shed. I can pick up everything as it sits for $100.00 bucks. Any idea what they are? He thought they came off of a 3/4 ton.

Pics shortly when I get to the laptop instead of the iPad.

So are they worth the $100.00? The Wheels, Tires and lift springs go with them.

are those Spicer hubs..?

How bad are the tires?? lol those old 44" Dick Cepeks are kinda cool

Either axle alone is easily worth $100. $200 is more like the going rate for a 14bolt and if the dana 44 has flattops the knuckles alone are worth $75.

It`s all junk, let me know where it is, and I`ll take care of it for you. I`d jump on it for $100, flat tops, hubs, 14 bolt, 8 lug outers, plus the tires if decent.

The Spicer hubs alone are worth $150-$200 if all the pieces are good.

Sorry Im all over these now!!!! Ill be rebuilding them over the winter to drop in this summer. Is there any way to check how much lift the springs have. I cant find any numbers or marking on them. Also is there a blueprint anywhere of how the knuckle needs machined for crossover steering?

Post a pic of the springs flat on a surface, off the axle, and somebody here can make a guess.

Machining and drilling the knuckle is complicated; even if you have the tooling, you have to mirror the driver's side one exactly. For the time involved you're really better off sending it to one of the CK5 Vendors We Like, e.g.

Ok so What Years and Models did these come out of. The guys at Napa arnt to bright. I said Dana44 and they stared at me with a Deer in the Headlights look!!!!

Say 75 chevy K20. That should work. And as everyone else said, the rear end alone is worth $100. The front depends on how good of shape its in. $100 if its in need of a total rebuild and those hubs are no good. If its in good shape and the huds are good, then more like $200.

People pay that much for the Dana 44 hubs?

These are the big external hubs, yes they do.
I sold mine for $150 and they were in decent shape.
As for the flat top, I don't know how long the pictures have been up but I don't see flat tops, these are regular 78 and up knuckles, which is weird because at the same time that they stopped the flat tops, they switched to internal locking hubs for 3/4 tons. :dunno:
