Can you overspin a P/S pump?

Well can you? Wimpy loves to idle really slowly but the power steering screams pretty well in parkin lots. So this leads me to ask if y'all think and or can one find a smaller pully that'll spin the pump faster.

Yes, but you are unlikely to do it. Try to find a P/S pulley off of an old Scout or other international. There are some that will press right onto a Saginaw pump and most are considerably smaller than GMs offering.

Excellent! There's even a guy down the street that has a couple of Internationals.
