I went to pick up my second M1008 this Saturday.
And this is how it looks it is the one in the middle and for you who do not know me from before the first one is mine already.
The last one on the trailer is my buddys who helped me getting them all home on the truck he drives at work.

Man that is a sweet load, but that tractor is friggin' sweet. I've always had a soft spot for big rigs....

Your a lucky guy. Do you have plans for the second truck yet??

I had to do a second look to see where you are at....there isnt any rigs around here that look like that yellow one!

So, not speaking Swedish, what do "bred last" and "lang last" mean?

Is that like "oversize load", like we use here, or the joke "Passing side" (left) and "Suicide" (right, indicating not to pass on the right or else! )

Yes
last = load
bred = wide
lång = long
so I guess they mean oversize load together :wink1:
And about suicide it should be on both sides of that thing bc on the truck there are 2 driving axels and the rest of the axels on the whole thing is turning.
All 5 of the axels on the trailer you can turn R or L from the cab.
Thats what I call rear steer :wink1:

:eek:

And looking again, the lumber used in pic #2 to hold the trucks up and in place ... jeebus, must be like 12x12" (err, 30cm x 30cm)... like the blocks used on cargo ships for drayage.

Good stuff.

Very cool, so what are the plans for the second M1008? It looks like Helen Keller wheeled all three of em...so it can't be a resto project. :D

The first one is my current trailrig,showtruck :wink1: and DD.
The second one will probably be spareparts.
the third one is going to be Bennys trailrig only.
I am waiting for a M1010 that I traded for my Suburban that one is in good shape and is going to be my DD.
