I have a 1986 bone stock 305ci Chevy BlazerK5 and I had the Carb rebuilt the right way. But, i cannot figure out where this wire attaches. I am attaching pics to see if anyone knows what I am talking about. All help is appreciated. There is a black wire that goes nowhere it seems and a pink and pinkish/black that is attached to the carb. Someone please give me some info.

Thanks,
TexasRyanK5

That's one of those dual capacity pumps or whatever...IIRC, one wire is a ground, the other runs to a switch on the water neck. It's a cold engine operation compensating device. Relatively uncommon.

I suppose that is probably shown in some wiring diagram, but I've never actually seen it. If someone has an '86 truck wiring manual, it may be shown if they'd look.

on my 85 the black wire went to the switch on the water neck where the green wire is in the last pic

edit where the red arrow is

Anyone know where I can get this 1986 K5 wiring diagram on an adobe.pdf or word file?

Thanks
