One green wire coming from the firewall on my 76 K5, not sure where it went.

The wire with the rubber end and a female blade connection inside.

The curved metal tube/wire I know came off the back of the block and went into the firewall...I assume there is an oil sender unit near the gauge or behind the dash possibly?

if the single wire with hat is dark tan or brown it could be the brake warning light wire maybe . this would hook to the dist / prop valve down below the fan / rad area were the brake lines are all going in/out .

possible engine coolant temp sensor left side front cylinder hear just between #1 and #3 exhaust ports = single green wire .

copper tube thing is mech oil pressure gauge feed from rear of engine block port by dist or above oil filter 2 places it could be used . then goes in to hook to the dash gauge .

GM often used a green wire for the electric choke on carbed trucks too,and for the idle stop solenoid too..

Both the above mentioned tan or brown wires that Sweet K30 referred to both had the rubber booty thing that snaps over the oil sending unit and the brake warning light connector on the proportioning valve..
Usually the green water temp sender wire had a female connector that slides on the sending unit's "button" ,from the side, rather than straight on..
