Ok, now I read about all theses events such as the Blazer Bash and other fun stuff. Hopefully I can get my blazer ready for some trails like these. One of the requirements (for obvious reasons) is that engine runs while pointed at the sky. I'm fairly new to my blazer and would like to think decently mechanically inclined.
Now I understand fuel injection will do this. So is everyone running fuel injection in their blazers or are there folks getting there carb setups to do this? If so how?
I currently have a sb400 with a Edelbrock 1405 Carb. I know it's more a street carb , however it came with blazer and runs great. That is until I get about 45-50 degrees skyward. Then I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep her going. Not always a good thing hanging on the side of a ledge.
Someone please edgumicate me.
Any tips ideas or pics of your setups would be great.
