car body on 4x4 frame info?

sweet guys, thanks for all the pics! Yeah, we're definitely doing it, hopefully by Christmas. My brother is stoked since we don't have to chop up his baby. THe resale on those gas guzzlers is nil, maybe $300, but the body is good, interior is excellent, motor/trans/rearend are all worth way more than that, and it'll be fun. I've been looking at the underbody of the Lincoln, and it has pretty straight forward body mounts, and the kickups appear to match the contour of the truck frame. It will probably need a 2-4" body lift to clear the truck's gas tanks and transfer case though.


I've GOT to see pictures of those Mark bodied 4x4's! Please carry your camera around!

Go for it! I haven't paid yet (will be after pay day) so I can't see what you guys have linked so far but I've been thinking of doing something like this to my '70 Cutlass...
