This is some equipment you could use to run a car stereo without a receiver directly from a phone or MP3 player. I used this setup for a few years but I ended up with a Tuffy console and it made more sense to just put a regular car stereo receiver in the console where it can be locked up.
Before the locking console, I liked this setup when I was running tube doors in my K5 because there were no visible stereo components except the speakers. I just had an audio cable to connect my phone to the amp. Later I added the bluetooth receiver and the equalizer. The equalizer was handy because it provided me with the ability to use 2 inputs as I found the bluetooth didn't work well with a CB. The CB output would overwhelm the bluetooth signal and feedback in the stereo so I needed the regular audio cable if I was going to be using the CB.
First is an audio cable with a female end for a standard headphone jack and the other end has 2 male RCA connectors to plug into the amp.
I also have a bluetooth receiver. This allow the amp to receive a bluetooth input. Also if you have auxiliary RCA inputs on a standard head unit, this will allow it to receive bluetooth. http://www.amazon.com/Fusion-MS-BT1...d=1452291248&sr=8-1&keywords=fusion+bluetooth
This is a Pyle marine amp. Has a single input that would accept either one of the above cables. It has a single output channel so you can run just a single pair of speakers. http://www.amazon.com/PLMRA120-240-...=UTF8&qid=1452291516&sr=8-1&keywords=plmra120
This is a Soundstorm equalizer. It gives you a little more versatility with the system as it allows you to have 2 inputs, so you could use both the audio jack cable and the bluetooth cable above. Of course it gives you the tuning options expected with an equalizer. Also a place to adjust volume. It also gives you a front, rear, or subwoofer output so you could use it with a 2-channel amp. http://www.amazon.com/S4EQ-Pre-Amp-...1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452291744&sr=8-1&keywords=s4eq
These are Kicker speakers in boxes I mounted vertically next to the back seat of the K5. Specifics: 6"x8" Kicker KS68 2-way speakers http://www.amazon.com/Kicker-11KS68...2?ie=UTF8&qid=1452292337&sr=8-2&keywords=ks68
