I have an 84 blazer with a newish crate motor(5.7 350). I have the computer controlled quadrajet. Just had it rebuilt by a shop in fresno, and they did a really good shop. The intake manifold is a edelbrock performer, it is a high rise, but it is only 3/8 of an inch or so of a rise. The mechanic said I would be better off with a low rise. Would it be that big of a difference? It runs good as it is. I just want to leave it and not spend the money.

then go out and hit the skinny pedal.. if your happy then so be it..

prime example.. when i bought a cam. i got stuck in the... same price for a .454" lift as for a .680" lift... ok so one was idle-5000 power and the other was 2500-6500 power i think... so i had to sit back and go.. ok what do i really need...
if your happy with it then good...

dont forget.. part is mods, part is full truck and most is driver experience.... :thumb:
